Since 1973, The Holiday Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center serves individuals suffering from an illness, recovering from an injury or needing support to return to their prior level of function.
Short Term Rehabilitation: The Holiday offers a separate dedicated wing for our short term patients. Our Medicare-certified rehabilitation programs benefit patients through specialty physician involvement, an interdisciplinary team with advanced training for the conditions they treat and specific protocols and equipment to best meet their needs. A team of caring and committed therapy professionals assess the “whole patient”, to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual rehabilitative care.
- Skilled Nursing: Our nurses and care professionals serve our patients with compassion, dignity and respect. Our staff-to-patient ratio is one of the highest in Rhode Island.
- Respite Care: We offer short-term respite stays for caregivers. Your loved one will be cared for by our professional nursing staff giving you piece of mind knowing your loved one is safe and comfortable. We do require a two week minimum stay.
Personalized Activities and Dining
Keeping patients involved and enthused about participating in various activities and events is an effective way to promote healing and recovery. At The Holiday, we offer many activities and amenities to meet each resident’s individual needs.
When it comes to dining, our menus are completely patient-centered. Not only is our food carefully planned and prepared to ensure good nutrition, but it is also delicious and well presented. Residents can choose from a range of dietary selections for each meal and also make suggestions to daily menus.
