Activities
Social interaction is important for people of any age and is an area that can be overlooked in contributing to a person’s well-being. Being involved in social activities with their peers can be challenging for some seniors who can be inclined to stay home, or just don’t have the option to leave if they do not drive anymore. At The Holiday, we try to simplify the path for our residents to socialize with one another, make new and lasting friends, and to enjoy themselves through our many activities.
The Holiday has two spacious recreation rooms where our activities are held. Our entertainment director, Evelyn plans engaging daily activities that are sure to bring smiles. Below are a few of the activities that we have on a regular basis.
- Bingo
- Movies
- Exercise
- Ice cream socials
- Birthday parties
- Slide shows
- Holiday related activities (Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.)
