The Holiday Retirement Home - Rhode Island

The Holiday was created in 1973 by Jules Roy, his sons, Raymond and Donald, and daughter Jeanne in hopes of becoming the preferred establishment for retirement care. Due to high demand for our services we constructed a building expansion in 1989 so we could handle an increased amount of residents. Since opening, The Holiday has been providing exceptional care to the thousands of residents who have come to us. Although some of our family is gone, a third generation has continued in the same tradition in which The Holiday was started, with the same priority of the highest possible quality of care.

Wyndemere Woods

Wyndemere Woods was opened in 1998 by the Roy Family to serve the retirement community by providing affordable senior living with two choices; independent and assisted living. Striving to bring a genuine caring atmosphere to the residents due to being family owned, Wyndemere has been well received. Since then, Wyndemere has been greatly admired by the retirement community in the greater Woonsocket area. Come stop by for a chat and see what all of the fuss is about.

The Holiday Retirement Home - West Hartford

The Roy family was at the forefront of retirement living when we first opened Holly Hill Convalescent Home located in Simsbury, CT in 1958. Founder Jules Roy had a vision of active seniors living in a community when they did not yet require nursing treatment. The Holiday was then created in 1968. Three generations of the Roy family have run The Holiday to make sure it continues with the same spirit of the utmost care for our residents that it was founded upon.
